Calluses appear usually on the palms of your hands or on the soles of your feet, and it’s an area with hardened and thick skin. Their appearance is the result of pressure or friction over that particular skin area. Most of the time they are unsightly, and sometimes they become painful and harmful for your health. Untreated the area might get infected. And there is no other easy and effective method than using natural remedies.
Pineapple to get rid of calluses
Use pineapple bark to get rid of calluses by rubbing the affected area with the damp side of the bark. Then with the help of a pumice stone, rub gently the area to remove the calluses.
Linseed oil for calluses
Before you go to bed, soak a piece of sterile gauze in linseed oil. Bandage the affected area with it, and then put a pair of cotton socks and let it act overnight. The next day rinse and rub gently with the pumice stone. Calluses will be eliminated more easily.
Aloe Vera for calluses
The best way is to use Aloe Vera leaf. Cut it in 2 longitudinal and apply the leaf over the affect area. Cover it with a pair of socks and let it act overnight. The next day use a pumice stone to remove the calluses.
