For this lip balm recipe, you will need the following ingredients:
– 1 tablespoons of grated beeswax
– 2 teaspoons of coconut oil
– 1/2 tablespoons of shea butter
– 1/2 tablespoons of cocoa butter
– 1 teaspoon of honey
– 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder
– 1/8 tsp vitamin E oil
– 3 drops of peppermint essential oil
Thus, follow the instructions and your lip balm will be ready in no time:
Place a small pot with water on the stove and bring water to boil.
Then, put the shea and cocoa butter in a glass jar to place it on the small pot.
While these kinds of butter are melting off, you can also add the coconut oil.
Keep it heating at low heat for 30 minutes, making sure you stir occasionally.
Then, you can add the beeswax and incorporate well all the ingredients.
Next, remove the mixture from the heat.
After cooling off for 5 minutes, add the essential oil, the honey, vitamin E, and cocoa powder.
Lastly, whisk everything very well.
Now you can transfer the mixture to a lip balm tube and allow to set for 3 hours before using.
