1. Egg whites
Egg whites are becoming more and more popular because they tighten the skin hence reducing puffiness.
For this, you have to whip 2 egg whites with 3 drops of witch hazel. Using a cotton ball, apply the mixture on your lower eyelids. Leave it on for about 5 minutes and then rinse off thoroughly with water. For optimal results, apply daily.
Strawberries are also a great way to combat puffiness because they contain alpha-hydroxy, which reduces swelling. Moreover, it will also give your skin a youthful radiance.
Simply slice some refrigerated strawberries and place them on your eyes. Make sure you lie down so they can stay still for about 10 minutes. Again, for optimal results, apply daily.
3. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera contains antioxidants and vitamin E.. These ingredients, in particular, will help to reduce puffiness and improve circulation. Thus, preventing the swelling.
Make sure you apply only fresh aloe vera gel to your lower eyelids. Allow it to do its magic for half an hour and then rinse with water.
4. Green tea bags
This is my favorite in the summer especially because green tea has a pleasant cooling effect. The green tea bags will also reduce puffiness by soothing any irritation of the skin.
Make some green tea as you usually do. Let the green tea bags cool off completely and then place them over your eyes while lying down.
