5 natural treatments to get rid of calluses

Garlic and lemon treatment

This lemon and garlic treatment can help remove dead skin cells that were stratified into calluses. At the same time, this remedy softens them and facilitates their removal.

Just mix a spoonful of dried chamomile with lemon juice and a crushed garlic clove. Put this mixture on the affected area, leave it for 20 minutes, then remove with lukewarm water.

Baking soda

Baking soda is an economic product, always handy, ideal for removing these painful and unpleasant calluses.

Dissolve 3 tsp of baking soda in lukewarm water and keep your feet submerged for 30 minutes.

Onion, lemon and salt treatment

This treatment helps remove bacteria and dead skin cells inside the calluses. Lemons and onions are an excellent cure for cleaning and softening the skin, and salt is a natural scrub.

You have to cut an onion and put it on the calluses. Then, put on top a few drops of lemon juice and salt. Cover it with a bandage. Repeat this procedure every evening.

Tomatoes treatment

You can also soften and remove calluses naturally if you use tomatoes properties. They can soften the thick dead skin layer and helps to get rid of calluses easier.

Remove the pulp from one tomato and apply it directly on the affected area. After that, cover it with a bandage and leave it all night. Repeat this treatment every night before going to bed.

Pumice

If you want to follow this treatment, keep your feet in hot water for 20 minutes. Then, rub the calluses with a pumice stone, along and across.

From time to time, rinse your feet and the pumice to remove excess skin collected after rubbing the affected area. Continue until you remove the calluses and until you reach the skin surface, but be careful not to injure the healthy skin layer. When you see that the skin is pink and the area looks better, you can stop.
